Artist Statement

I am currently working on "Postcards".  I love traveling and exploring. As a family, we always send postcards to loved ones at home. When I stumbled onto a postcard collection of my mother's it propelled me to begin the project. I collect postcards myself and sometimes write journal entries on them to remind me of my travel experiences. The artworks below are a combination of daydreams, imagination,  places visited and places I dream of visiting.

My work is influenced by the vibrant colors and textures of nature, as well as the emotions and experiences that we all share. I strive to create pieces that are both visually stunning and emotionally impactful.
